Mr. Hudson has over 25 years of experience in cultural resource management. Founding DIG HUDSON LLC in 2013 and serves as an Archaeological Principal Investigator. Either with DIG or in prior employment, Mr. Hudson has supervised all aspects of cultural resources management investigations, including pre-field investigations and work plan development, field work at Phase I, II and III levels, prehistoric and historic artifact analysis, and report writing. Working with State Historic Preservation Offices (SHPO) and Tribal Historic Preservation Offices (THPO) in numerous states including Texas, Oklahoma, California, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Iowa, and Indiana. Mr. Hudson has extensive Tribal Consultation experience and maintains working relationships with numerous tribal representatives throughout the Eastern, Western, and Midwestern US. With a previous employer, he completed over 300 cell tower investigations, including the Phase I ESA screening and the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) Form 620 and Form 621 submissions for Crown Castle, American Tower Corporation, AT&T Mobility, and Verizon.

Mr. Hudson has extensive experience with:

  • Record Review - NPL, CERCLIS listings, RCRA list, and federal, state, and local records.
  • Site Reconnaissance - Visual and physical observation of the site.
  • Interviews - Discussions with key site managers and representatives, as well as local agencies.
  • Reporting - Presentation of findings and conclusions to disclose all issues and environmental conditions of the property.

Mr. Hudson has utilized EDR’s PARCEL program which has made the property due diligence process more efficient and complete—producing reports that are in line with brand-standards, free of errors and easily delivered to customers.

Mr. Hudson also has experience with:

  • Contributing to preparing technical studies and impact assessment documents, including Environmental Impact Reports (EIRs) and Environmental Impact Statements (EISs), serving in roles ranging from program manager to technical expert to QA/QC.
  • Has developed permit strategies, avoidance and mitigation measures; specify best management practices; prepare permit applications and negotiate conditions with applicable state and federal agencies.
  • Direct multi-media permitting, and compliance associated with telecom, energy infrastructure and other linear development projects with an emphasis on state and tribal SHPO’s, F.C.C., U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, California Fish and Wildlife Service, and Regional Water Quality Control Board permits and consultations.

Mr. Hudson has worked with Account Directors/Managers on client account development, sales, and delivery of the full spectrum of DIG's consulting services to deliver strategic value to clients in the telecommunications, electric/gas transmission and generation siting/development markets.

  • Experience with working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment to build DIG’s global business, as well as to lead client and practice teams. Drive innovation within the practice to stay ahead of client needs and to differentiate DEA in the market.
