Professional Summary

I am a United States citizen adopted from Romania, and I've been in USA since September 2003. Since I was a child, my dream was to become a teacher. I taught elementary grades in Romania for 3 years. I became passionate about preschool level once I had my daughter, 14 years ago, and I started to pursue this career in 2013 at Pikes Peak Community College. For the past two years I lived in El Paso, TX helping my mother in law while she was going through some health issues. This only increased my level of patience and desire to help and be part of community as family. This experience also improved my communication skills in Spanish.

I am a motivated lead teacher, dedicated to child development and learning. I am friendly, outgoing and adaptable in approach. I truly believe in helping young children develop emotional, social and educational skills to promote well-being. I am inspired to promote physical health, emotional and social health as complement to academic progress. Easily builds rapport with students, parents and teachers of diverse backgrounds. Dedicated to helping pupils reach full potential.
