Motivated Emergency Medical Technician looking to expand into the firefighting field. Firefighting has been a long-term goal/dream since a young age. Determined to learn as much as possible about the tasks a firefighter faces and to put into effect the training provided. Committed to doing the best possible job in any and all situations. My background, has been mostly medical, however, as this has been a dream of mine, I have been around the firehouse a lot. Strong belief that teamwork and strong communication is the key to success as a team.

Civil Air Patrol Search and Rescue Ranger Teams certify to search urban and wilderness environments for missing persons and aircraft. Team members are taught wilderness survival and rope operations.
Second year course at the Civil Air Patrol Search and Rescue Academy for certification as an emergency medical responder. Pre-requisite for this course is Search and Rescue Academy completion of Ground Team Member Level Two. This specialty track focuses on emergency wilderness medical operations and procedures in urban and remote settings. Included in this course, is rappelling operations, advanced wilderness search and rescue techniques, back-boarding, and wilderness patient packaging.
