Summary
I am a paramedic working in a progressive service  full-time. I have been employed at the service I currently work at since 1991 where I started at an EMT-Basic. We are primarily rural service with a coverage area of approximately 525 square miles. our patient load is a fair even load of both medical and traumatic injuries with transport times over 1 hour. I am currently an EMT Instructor in the State of Pennsylvania and have coordinated 10 programs.

Lineage Logistics Riverdale, GA, Daily Crew Chief on a Mobile Intensive Care Unit. Provided all Basic and Advanced Life Support functions. Responsible for management of resources for the shift. Also oversight of all rescue efforts during the shift. Returned to the position of Crew Chief/Captain to devote more time to my personal business.
Owner/Operator, 02/1998 - Current
Ambulnz Middletown, NY, Owner/Operator of a large Equine Stable. Boarding 20-25 horse. In addition to providing boarding services Woodland View Stables offer training,lessons, equine events,guided trail rides and over night adventures. In 2016 Woodland View Stables formed a non-profit called Woodland View Adventures, Inc that provides daylong horse back activities for Veterans and First Responders.
Chief of EMS Operation, 11/2001 - 04/2008
Jersey Shore Area EMS City, STATE, Provided overall management of Fire Department based EMS system providing Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support and community education to our service area. JSAEMS provides service to a primarily rural area encompassing 525 square miles. The service sees a mix of both medical and traumatic injuries with transport times well over 1 hour. Use of Aero medical transport services if common place due to the remote locations we serve. As operation manager I provided a strategic plan to insure that all incidents where handled. From December 2001 to May 2008 JSAEMS answered all incident that where dispatched. This was accomplished through the addition of 2 shift supervisors and incentive programs for off-duty and volunteers staff. We operated 2 Mobile Intensive Care Units, 1 Non-transport Advanced Life Support unit and 2 Basic Life Support units. We also had a Class 2 heavy rescue operated by the Fire Department. During my tenure as Chief I successfully managed two Mass Casualty incidents with the largest having over 130 patients.
Chief Inspector/Fire Protection Specialist, 01/1996 - 11/2001
Automatic Sprinkler Protection Inc. City, STATE, Chief Inspector/Fire Protection Specialist for a water based fire protection firm. Responsible for management of Inspectors, Education,Procurement of new clients and final inspection of all new water based fire protection systems. Our basis of operation was primarily commercial, however we had several government contracts including the Department of Defense. In addition to provided education to our staff members we provided educational programs for several different organizations across Pennsylvania at there request.

Part- Time Staff Paramedic, 11/1992 - 07/1994
Providence Health System City, STATE, Staff Paramedic on a Non-transport ALS unit. Provided Advanced Life Support services in conjunction with local Basic Life Support Ambulances in a primarily rural setting. Average transport times of 45-60 minutes. Additional duties included coordination of routine transport of patients from the Emergency Room to tertiary care centers.  Providence Health System was purchased in a merger in July of 1994 and Part-time staff where phased out.
