Professional Military Training
As a parachute rigger I am responsible for packing, inspection, and following specific guidelines provided by military service manuals for parachutes and equipment. Every rigger is trained to pack both parachutes and equipment for aircraft operations. We are trained for high proficiency in fast paced environments involving mission and life essential equipment.
As a bellman, it is my job to cater to guests with their luggage, questions on the local area and assist seasonal cruse line companies with any of their needs. I primarily work a graveyard shift which has added duties such as security and being able to make decisions without management approval due to being apart of a skeleton staff. The hotel has over 320 rooms and at maximum compactly I can be responsible for over 500 guests.
I am currently on my final semester of my senior year at UAA. My field of study has focused on marketing with emphasis on business management.
