My name is Jessica Claire. I am a hard working, dedicated employee. I have been working since I was roughly 15 years old. I worked as a phone girl/ front cashier for a little pizza shop from 2013 until about a year after graduating high school, 2016. Graduating high school, I worked 12 hour shifts overnight in a lens factory that was a fast pace environment and I really enjoyed from 2015 until 2018. I left this to go for my dream of working with troubled teenagers, which began at Key Program as an Awake Overnight Shift Worker November of 2018. I've worked overnights for over 5 years now. I know how to stay awake and keep myself busy. Working overnights at the key program the last 2 years, I like to get all my work done as soon as I begin the shift instead of leaving some to do throughout the shift. I usually then find other things to do around the program whether it is writing positive notes for the clients to wake up to or making sure they are waking up to a clean and safe environment. I now currently work 2nd shift as a residential caseworker at Key program still. I transport clients to and from school in a safe reliable car. I help them with everyday life skills (dinner, chores, hygiene routines), we work on ways to regulate emotions appropriately every day. We have treatment plans we work on daily with each client in order to handle daily routines. I also work at Mama's Kitchen as a waitress/bartender and being a manager to the other waitresses. I create schedules that work out for everyone. I work with my team and take their input on all new specials and ideas they have to come up with new drink and food menus. I strive to be great in anything I do. I love to see everyone happy in the end. I want to continue my career with the youth and being a care worker for them. I want to help these young teens with the real world, life skills, and getting through tough situations appropriately. I am a supportive care worker and i want to become a BETTER professional youth care worker role. Flexible and hardworking with the ability to monitor and review quality of child and youth services provided. Special talents in befriending and supporting youth in accomplishing specific goals, ambitions and dreams. I put my all and dedication into these kids as any should.
