I am a board certified Ob/Gyn and Fellow of American College of Ob/Gyn. I am passionate about women's health and, committed to patient safety, quality improvement and evidenced based principles.I have been involved with physician leadership for over the past fifteen years and have experience with implementing patient safety and quality improvements initiatives in the hospital setting as well as in the community health center setting.During my career I have launched and led committees for quality improvement as well as championed and led a quality improvement collaborative. I led the OB Department of the community health center in the transition from the paper medical record to the electronic health record.
I am a mentor in Carolina's HealthCare System Physician Mentoring Program. I have been a clinical instructor for the Physician Assistant Program for MUSC as well as AT Still University. To ensure my relevance in the physician leadership arena I am in the process of obtaining my Physician Executive MBA.
