Worked as a civil engineer/project superintendent. Duties included estimation of construction quantities, providing contract bids, supervising construction projects, and submitting estimates for partial and final payments for construction projects performed.
Worked as an Assistant Shift Test Engineer, until training, written exams, and oral exam were successfully completed in 1983. Thereafter was qualified as a Nuclear Shift Test Engineer directing on-board testing of Naval Nuclear Submarine reactor plants during and after shipyard overhaul.
Design, layout, and inspection of NH DOT highway, drainage, and bridge construction projects. In winter months worked in the Engineering Audit section where quantities and payments were checked for correctness prior to final payment to the contractors.
