Brady Trane Service, Inc – , , Served as a Submarine Rescue Diver employed with the capability of world-wide submarine assessment, intervention, and rescue using Deep Submergence systems. Maintained and operated five NAVSEA certified Deep Submergence and diving systems ready 24/7 for the rescue of submariners, both foreign and domestic. Tracked personnel and supplies within the company. Instrumental in the re-certification of the Navy's only deep submergence rescue vehicle, the Pressurized Rescue Module, valued at $150M, resulting in the receipt of a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. Operated and qualified in two other rescue assets, the Submarine Rescue Chamber, and the Atmospheric Diving Suit 2000. Mentored and trained 12 junior personnel in their qualifications for these assets also.Underwater Ships-Husbandry Specialist providing industrial and logistics support for the incremental overhaul
and repair of TRIDENT submarines and emergent repairs to other tended ships and submarines.Key player and lead diver for the emergent repairs of critical equipment and double shaft seal replacement aboard
the USS Florida resulting in the savings of $3M in dry-docking costs. Subsequently awarded a Flag Letter of Commendation from the Rear Admiral of Submarine Group 10.Logged 91 hours of accident free diving, while maintaining a radioactive control diver qualification, facilitating
dives in and near reactor compartments and handling potentially radioactive material. Recognized for sustained performance in the form of being awarded Blue Jacket of the Year 2012.Expertly managed the maintenance, repair and stowage of all divers life support equipment such as dive helmets, SCUBA rigs, tanks, and regulators for the Trident Refit Facilities dive locker. Foresight and creative ideas greatly increased
the efficiency of this area, key to mission success.Volunteered and formally trained to be one of only two base prisoner escorts. Assigned to one case, delivering a
service member to the brig.
