Naturalist , 04/2013 to 08/2013 Wappapello State Park – MO-172, Williamsville, Missouri 63967 During my time at the park, I was to give interpretive presentations about the park history, the various plants and animals in the park, and to be informative of general safety procedures while campers where in the park. I was also responsible for entertaining guests while they visited the nature center. I was to inform them of the plants and animals they were observing. My job was to get the public to interact with nature.
Interpreter/Educator , 10/2016 to 05/2017 Missouri Botanical Garden – Saint Louis, MO During my time at the Gardens, I was to care for many different types of plants indoors, and outdoors, with great knowledge of each species to be able to deliver informal programs to a wondering visitor. I was to research a variety of topics and plan programs, such as environmental deterioration, endangered species, native plants and animals to the area, etc.
