MUSIC TEACHER
Summary

Music and teaching are my passions. As a middle school student, I discovered and knew that I wanted to be a teacher of music as a career. Nothing has swayed my decision to follow that path. Immediately after high school I was recruited to work as a drumline instructor with another high school band program. I've been teaching music nonstop since then. I have taught students of every age to love and appreciate music. I approach teaching with energy, confidence, humor, and making it easy to understand. There is no student who cannot learn to read, play, and love music. My goal is not to create more players of instruments, but rather to instill an appreciation for how all music enhances the soul and brings out feelings we, as humans, may not otherwise acknowledge.
