Receive, ship, store, package, issue and control hazardous and non-hazardous material and equipment.
Package and prepare shipments of missile components, ordnance, classified hardware, and support equipment in support of Government/fleet requirements, inter-facility and intra-facility transfers. Package all Government repaired equipment and components for return to the Navy stock system. Perform functional adequacy inspections and prior-to-use inspections of Packaging Data Sheet (PDS) containers and on-base transfer pallets and containers. Prepare shipping manifests and documents, as necessary.
Perform visual inspection of the receipt, delivery, shipment, and handling of parts and equipment as necessary using approved procedures. Stamp or otherwise approve acceptable parts, tests, etc., and prepare or process paperwork as necessary. Reject items found to be discrepant or unacceptable. Prepare necessary documentation to identify material discrepancy.
Take inventories of hazardous materials, ordnance, Arms, Ammunition & Explosives (AA&E), classified hardware, and missile components and consumables; collect and process transaction data to update the inventory control systems in Navy-Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) and Automated Storage Retrieval Systems (ASRS) with physical counts and/or adjustments. Prepare or perform internal inventory management reports summarizing results/findings for each inventory. Inventory assigned property and utilize scanners to maintain current inventories and location.
Maintain a library of traffic and transportation, packaging and preservation, and warehouse publications. Maintain controlled LM SWF documents applicable to warehouse functions/operations. Control classified hardware including processing of related paperwork.
Work with various programs including, IMAP, PRISM, MAS, and SPDTR to preform job duties in receiving of materials, movement to appropriate personnel, packaging for shipments and proper storage requirements.
