• Twelve weeks as Assistant Department Manager where the MIT is placed in a different department than their selling rotation, the Designer Handbags floor at Nordstrom Store 1, Downtown Seattle. The MIT is taught everything an Assistant Department Manager would need to know to run a successful business.
• Five weeks in an assigned buying office. The MIT's will play a contributing role in the business while contributing to learn about Nordstrom's merchandising organization.
