Assist with monitoring Beneficiary Education program. Maintain comprehensive knowledge Arkansas Medicaid program and Beneficiary Education program in order to establish communication, education and monitoring, assisting beneficiaries with understanding their Medicaid coverage. Provide communication education and promotion of program services. Collaborate with internal and external customers to meet contract deliverables ensuring timely provision of services and appropriate follow up. Assist with documenting services rendered and reporting as rendered and reporting as required. Supervise, coach and evaluate assigned staff of 4 per day. Develop standards of staff performance and set annual performance objectives. Ensure quality and accuracy of employees' work product and that staff meet performance goals within designated time frame. Engage in active problem-solving of activities, events, and occurrences, reporting to manager. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Medicaid program, pertinent organizations, and health care environment, including contract, contract deliverables, policies and procedures, available resources, current research and reports. Assist staff in problem resolution. Mentor staff resourcefully as needed.. Coach assigned staff on job specific regulations and contract requirements. Communicate effectively with customers and/or clients. Develop and maintain working relationships as necessary to meet contract deliverables of specialty area project. Responsible for resolution of customer/client requests including research, referral, policy review, revision, and development, documentation and follow up in accordance with established policy/procedures. Ensure that Quality Assurance findings are actioned and provide coaching to staff as needed. Recognize high performers, coach staff as needed, and notify manager as problems emerge. Maintain knowledge of corporate contracts within their area of responsibility. Represent company at external functions. Meet regularly with department manager to stay informed, to offer information and support for inter-departmental projects and to confer on organizational goals, objectives and policies. Prepare and submit required reports on program progress and performance. Meet regularly with assigned staff to communicate pertinent information, needs and requests to other team members as appropriate. Follow AFMC, state and federal protocols regarding data confidentiality/security and HIPAA compliance.
