Immunohematology: Perform daily quality control – daily reagent (serum and cells). Use of positive and negative controls. Equipment quality control and preventive maintenance. Microbiology/ Serology: Gram stain, blood cultures, reading plates, biochemically. Inoculate samples to appropriate media, record keeping. Observe technologist reading plates and do antibiotic susceptibility testing. Use of microscope. Parasitology – describe a stool specimen for oval and parasites using correct terminology. Make direct and concentrated preparations of stool specimens with recovery of parasites in positive specimens. Acid- Fast Bacilli (AFB) and Mycology – set up and examine India Ink preparations. Observe the techniques use in examining fungus preparations with mounts and culture. Perform the following kit test pregnancy test, Group A strep, Monotest and Influenza A, B.
Process customer orders of document store at a facility. Ensure all the data enter is accurate and correct. Investigate and resolve any order discrepancy for incoming orders.
