The Master of Science Degree in General Administration was developed to meet my educational needs and interests of administrators in both the public and nonprofit sectors. The MSA degree is for professional administrators seeking to develop a broad range of current management and leadership skills. The MSA administration course recommended that I have a background in statistics, accounting, management, financial, organizational, leadership and "people skills" I needed for success in any professional business. Earning my master's degree gave me more in-depth understanding of my specialty and career focus. It suggested expertise and credibility in those particular fields that allowed me to have more freedom within that field. The MSA program helped increased my knowledge in management leadership, and administration skills, which gave me an advantage at a time when many employers are raising their educational requirements for emerging positions.
