Increased profits from $100,000 to $1 million first year. Responsible for implementing U-Haul policies and programs for all locations within 777 including AFM programs. Responsible for the maintenance of company owned locations. Successfully increased revenues to be able to help split 776 and 777 to a third company, 763. We are actively seeking to split again currently. We have increased revenue this year $2.6 million currently with three months to go. Successfully implemented a KRA area of acquiring storage dealers throughout North Georgia. Responsible for hiring and developing quality employees for Area Field Managers, Shop, and GM positions along with Marketing staff. We have very low turnover of GM, AFM, and shop employees which is a direct result of quality leadership. Responsible for community outreach programs. Worked closely with City leadership of Woodstock and Canton, GA to open new rental centers.

Responsible for the management of U-Haul Rental Centers throughout 776. While doing this I was also, the Marketing Company Storage Manager handling all storage operations. Responsibilities included P&L Budgeting, hiring and firing, inventory control, rental of trucks and trailers, and installation of custom trailer hitches. John Brick and I achieved a storage occupancy of above 95% which led to my promotion to MCP.

Responsible for all repair of U-Haul rental equipment in North Georgia. Managed one hundred eighty nine employees and three locations. Extensive budgeting and P&L experience. Implemented the rebuild program of spicer transmissions for entire U-Haul system. Work closely with Technical Center on campaigns and recalls of rental equipment. Accountable for the education and training of employees on new state of the art rental equipment. Responsible for a repair parts inventory that exceeded $100,000. Went from a loss of $1.3 million to less than $500,000 after first year.

03/1994 to 01/1997 Traffic Control Managers (776) U-Haul Company Of Georgia | City, STATE,

Responsibilities included equipment rental inventory for three hundred independent dealers and twenty six company locations. Responsible for all stolen equipment and local not returned equipment. One of the first traffic departments to implement electronic accounting. Responsible for all reservations and non reporting equipment.
