Accomplishments

In Q1 of FY15 using strong negotiating skills I was able to reduce my overall spend with vendors by 10%, making an honest effort on my part in recognizing current market conditions.


Working effectively with my team I led them to successfully executing an acquisition launch event for 200 attendees within five business days, including an executive meeting, a general session and a product and solutions exposition, while working from the British Isles.


Hired, effectively trained and managed a trade show coordinator for three months who went on to successfully execute more than 35 trade shows in three quarters.

  • Corporate Events Management - Manage a small group of event planners responsible for corporate meetings, sports marketing events, incentive travel and industry trade shows.
  • Budget management including accruals, performance reviews, and expense report approvals.
  • Development - Develop and idea for an event, assist with the development of the marketing program to support the program. Use creativity to create exciting events that meet goals and objectives of the company.
  • Planning - Plan and execute high profile council meetings for the President of Konica Minolta, plan and execute more than 10-20 corporate meetings of my own per fiscal year. Programs include a multiple of employee kick-off meetings which have included large tents, food and beverage, slide decks, live broadcasts, guest speakers and hired entertainment. Oversee more than 10 learning events for sales and service training; many of which include hotels, meals, learning tracks, transportation and off site meals for audiences 9-750
  • Incentive Travel Programs - Develop an idea, plan and execute two premium incentive travel programs per year. First, President's Club with more than 2,300 possible qualifiers, stack ranking into the top 300 positions for an opportunity to attend a four night, five day luxury trip, a total of 650 attendees. Manage the travel provider, conduct site inspections, select activities and entertainment, and work with a production team on a half million dollar awards event. The second trip is an extraordinary 3 - 3.5 million dollar top customer experience. Work with an outside travel partner on location ideas, pitch destinations to the President, execute a site inspection with the travel provider and destination Management Company, plan and execute the trip.
  • Facilitate marketing the program, throughout the 12-15 months.
  • Corporate sponsored events - Golf tournaments and our sponsored race team events.
  • Product launches, field powerhouses, acquisition and media events.
  • Trade shows - Directly responsible for the business partnership with our local exhibit house, and the development of our on line portable booth program used by more than 100 Konica Minolta branches nationwide, and the execution of more than 65 industry trade shows per year; 100 square feet up to a custom 50,000 square foot exhibit with a load in of more than 10 tractor trailers.
