I have worked in the restoration industry for the last six years. I started working in Paul Davis Restoration of DuPage County, Illinois in 2009.
As a restoration technician, I worked and learned the pack out process, of hard as well as soft contents after either a fire, flood, mold or any other disaster occurred, using mostly Assured Pack Out but also learned to use ICat tracking systems for contents, for either commercial or residential claims.
I have experience cleaning hard contents, as well as cleaning carpets, rugs, upholstery and soft contents. I certified in the Esporta Wash Systems in 2012.
I participated also in different types of site cleaning: removing sooth from walls and ceilings after a light fire, as well as structure cleaning and disinfection after demolition took place for either fire, water, mold loss; after construction cleaning, cleaning on site for contents either commercial or residential.
I also helped project managers running crews from a couple of technicians to several dozens at the same time for mostly commercial jobs.
Assisting in the after loss inventory of the non restorable contents was also one of my duties.
I was in direct contact and communication through the restoration process with home and business owners, which helped me in developed good writing and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
