Professional Summary

I am a highly motivated, goal orientated elementary school teacher. My desire is to teach and guide students through their academic careers by building confidence, identifying individual strengths, and implementing targeted, differentiated instruction strategies to meet their academic, social, and emotional needs. I believe that creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable, and safe sharing ideas and voicing opinions is critical to guaranteeing student success. I have strong communication skills, and feel that this is a very important aspect to teaching. It allows the teacher and parents to build strong relationships which will enable them to work together as a team to provide the best support to enable the students to be successful. I work well with others and enjoy working in a team setting with other teachers to provide the students with the support available from all of the staff. I believe that with the proper support and encouragement, all children can thrive and reach their full potential.
