PreJessicact the categories of e-commercial products based on their images. 
  • Performed transfer learning with state of art Convolutional Neural Network architectures with 12 million of images belonging to more than 5000 categories. Fine-tuned the models and obtained an accuracy of 65% on the test set
  • Constructed a recurrent neural network on top of the Convolutional Neural Network to utilize the hierarchical labels of each image. Improved the accuracy by 1% on the test set. 
  • Built a customized GPU workstation with Linux system, outperformed the public resources of the university.

Bosch Production Line Performance

Detect manufacturing failures using data from streamline stations.
  • Visualized manufacturing time series data and detected production flow and abnormal patterns in Python. 
  • Conducted data cleaning, imputed missing values, created new features to improve model performance.
  • Performed various sampling methods on highly imbalanced data and increased Matthews Correlation Coefficient of manufacturing failure preJessicaction by 0.08.
