I earned this position because Rite Aid was bought out by Walgreens, during this merger there was literally no work as the warehouse was empty awaiting new items and equipment. During this time The IT Team/ Computer room was still working as they are the ones programming new equipment as it comes in, because of this they needed help I volunteered to assist the computer room. I assisted in documenting, inventorying, and configuring 250 new RF units, WT41N0 units and VC70N0 units. Assisted IT personnel in deploying new EUC while maintaining documentation of the hardware deployed. I covered for an IT technician while the were abruptly out of disability. I became responsible for checking our equipment (RF and Gladiators) to and from using excel to log it. responsible for maintaining and creating user profiles on AS400 system. Checking and processing our daily and weekly backups,servers,digital servers,remote accessing PC and equipment to troubleshoot and/or configure. Responsible for building and maintain databases. Knowledge in Microsoft Windows OPS, MS Office Suite-Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Responsible for Technical Support, Knowledge of printers, terminals,PC's, RF Communication.
