I earned this position because Rite Aid was bought out by Walgreens, during this merger there was literally no work as the warehouse was empty awaiting new items and equipment. During this time The IT Team/ Computer room was still working as they are the ones programming new equipment as it comes in, because of this they needed help I volunteered to assist the computer room.
