  • As a Resource Specialist at NBMC I've mastered being able to multitask, function in a fast paced clinical environment, communicate/distribute messages clearly and properly to the intended party and have established professional relationships with all colleagues as well as with the outside agencies/facilities we come in contact with.
  • Resource Specialists perform a combination of duties designed to maximize the utilization of hospital resources and coordinate post-hospital care for patients in support of Inpatient Case Management (IPCM). These comprehensive duties include communication and coordination with payers and outside agencies to assist with patient discharge and supporting IPCM accountabilities.
  • As an "On Call" RS it is expected of me to be crossed trained in the department. Some of my responsibilities include but are not limited to; compiling documents/referrals, faxing documents/referrals to the requested agency or facility requested by patient or the IPCM or to insurance companies to obtain authorization for non contracted patients, following up with the agencies/facilities, setting up transportation for patients upon discharge if needed, scheduling hospital follow up appointments and relaying/communicating important information to patients on behalf of their Case Manager in person or via telephone.
04/2018 to 04/2019 Instructor Pace Solano | City, STATE,

Pace Solano is a non profit organization that cares for adults with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; being a mandated reporter, creating lesson plans daily for clients to learn each and everyday basic living skills, take clients out into the community to improve their communication and independent skills, whether that be out shopping, lunch out, job sites and or to community service outings. Instructors must also assist clients in the restroom using a hoyer lift, feed those who are incapable of feeding themselves, fill out daily documentation on their attendance and or IR's (incident reports) if needed. Lastly, Instructors must attend meetings with clients, supervisor's and care providers/parents of the clients every 6 and 12 months from their birth date to update any and all progress they've done and inform/work with the home to provide new goals for the individual. I myself mastered all responsibilities expected of me as an Instructor and built professional relationships with my clients, their care providers/parents and all co-workers.

08/2017 to 12/2017 Cashier/Apparel Associate Dick's Sporting Goods, Inc | City, STATE,
  • As a Cashier associate at Dick's Sporting Goods I did the basic job description of welcoming customers into the store, ringing up items, worked with cash/credit or debit payments and assisted customers with questions and or concerns.
  • When working apparel I censored, fold, hung, and took the clothing out to their appropriate sections.
  • Although, this was one of my first jobs and it was only seasonal I always put in my best effort and received recognition from my former Manager Michael for having a high score on getting customers to sign up to our rewards program.
04/2017 to 07/2017 Cahier/Hostess Athenian Grill | City, STATE,

As a Cashier/Hostess at Athenian Grill I learned to correctly receive orders from customers, bus tables, process payments via cash/credit or debit, provide menus, greet and seat customers and respond appropriately to guest concerns. This job taught me patience overall and when an angry customer had a complaint I always managed to be quick and calm to defuse the situation.
