Pace Solano is a non profit organization that cares for adults with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; being a mandated reporter, creating lesson plans daily for clients to learn each and everyday basic living skills, take clients out into the community to improve their communication and independent skills, whether that be out shopping, lunch out, job sites and or to community service outings. Instructors must also assist clients in the restroom using a hoyer lift, feed those who are incapable of feeding themselves, fill out daily documentation on their attendance and or IR's (incident reports) if needed. Lastly, Instructors must attend meetings with clients, supervisor's and care providers/parents of the clients every 6 and 12 months from their birth date to update any and all progress they've done and inform/work with the home to provide new goals for the individual. I myself mastered all responsibilities expected of me as an Instructor and built professional relationships with my clients, their care providers/parents and all co-workers.
