Accomplishments

While employed as personal assistant, I lead, organized, ran and prepared for a festival held in an attempt to bring awareness to the economy and local businesses. This generated $15,000 to build up the plaza it was located.

  • Paid While obtaining my undergrad, I interned for two summers with the local Health Department, Lakewood Health Department in Ohio, conducting research on the West Nile Virus and bringing awareness to the community about the disease.
  • This entailed setting mosquito traps and collection of mosquito traps.
  • Then brought to a location to Sort through insects for viable specimens.
  • After specimens sent to lab, analyse data to ensure West Nile was not detectable in the county.
  • Community awareness involved some door to door leaflet distribution and posting awareness tips in local community and government centers.
  • Voluntary Work: I am currently the class representative for my MA Human Rights and International Relations course.
  • While employed as , I lead, organized, ran and prepared for a festival held in an attempt to bring awareness to the economy and local businesses.
  • Semester abroad travelling through Ecuador studying human rights in South America and environmental conservation issues in the Andes Mountains, Amazon rainforest and the Galapagos Islands.

  • Responsible for reviewing and analyzing files to determine what steps were needed to bring the case to final hearing.
  • This included drafting motions (legal documents submitted to court for consideration), drafting of Proposed Orders, Certificate of Compliances and hearing setting in all counties of Florida.
  • Managed large caseload, around 30-40 files per day.
  • Independently viewed files to ensure preparedness for hearings.
