Professional Summary

Although I've never had a professional job title, I have learned many social and career-based skills from programs I have participated in my previous years. I have been volunteering for the New Image Dance Project and have recently stopped a few months ago. Here at this non-profit I learned how to appropriately talk to children, how to act around them, the best manner to speak to and help them clearly understand you, and teach them any skill. Being a part of this non-profit organization I also learned how to organize fundraising activities and community-enriching events and collaborations.

While being on the Lionettes dance team I have learned much of physical and mental health and how to correlate each with personal and professional life for the better. Not only that, but I have learned how to especially collaborate with an extensive team of people and all work for the same goal. I have learned to be a leader and how to take orders and differentiate when one is better than the other in certain situations. Being a part of this team has also taught me financial responsibility and discipline. Our coach, on several accounts, has entrusted me to handle external affairs with different companies and handling of money for packages and costumes.

Finally my internship with Simplex Group has been the most qualified environment I have been a part of and realistically the most professional experience I have earned. Here I worked with clients one-on-one and learned proper professional telephone etiquette, how to properly communicate with clients and employers, how to file papers and organize professional binders, and be a part of a real professional work-space.
