  • 3D solid and shell elements were used for the Finite Element Analysis of a Blank in Deep Drawing process and the results were compared in terms of stress distribution and plastic strain.
  • The springback effect, thickness of the blank and, the influence of Blank Holder force on the stress distribution and plastic deformation was studied.
  • Nonlinear Finite Element Analysis on Engine Gasket model.
  • An appropriate Hyperelastic Material Model, Mooney Rivlin, was determined for an existing gasket model and Nonlinear Finite Element Analysis was carried out using Abaqus.

  • Designed and constructed a Step Parabolic Solar Still, an improvisation of Traditional Single Basin Solar Still incorporated with water level controller, insulators.
  • The water level controller was designed and fabricated using 555 Timer.
  • The efficiency increased by 83 percentage in the improvised still.
  • Deduced that the amount of water collected is majorly influenced by condensation process Improving Efficiency of Flexural Testing Machine.
  • The plunger of the Flexural Testing Machine experienced fluctuation in speed and affected the efficiency of the machine.
  • A Flywheel and a base was designed and fabricated to reduce the fluctuations and, to support and absorb the vibrations of the motor respectively.
  • The speed fluctuation was reduced by 20 percentage.
  • Lead screw was replaced with ball screw to reduce frictional loss.
