Construction professional for over 30 years, working in both the service and sales areas of the construction industry. This combination of classroom instruction and hands on work, has helped to lead me into my most recent employment, with the U S Small Business Administration, as a Inspector (Construction Analyst). SBA experience- From 2004 to the present I have worked various disaster locations in 10 different states. Including the following duties:
Using proper contact information and professional courtesy to set appointments to meet with SBA applicants.
Maximizing my travel time and appointment setting to work in a concise orderly schedule.
Detailing all site measurements to make sure my report is correct and easy to understand.
Using my tablet (computer) to generate file reports that are understandable and meet all details of what I saw.
Keeping legible written notes to back up my files in case there are questions from my reviewer.
And finally, delivering the files thru the DCMS system on time as to not keep any back log of files.

**--- NOTE- Lacked 16 hours in completing diploma, I had to quit school to take care of my ill parents. Until leaving school maintained a 3.2 grade level based on a 4.0 perfect system.

MY abilities stem from both classroom studies and on the job experience. Both the Tech. school drafting and construction techniques, and the college computer classes (word, e-mail-and excel)have aided me well in my work with the SBA.
In 7 years of SBA employment I have worked basically every type file that has been seen. From small 1 story homes to multi level apartments and multi level commercial buildings, and multi site businesses as well.
I have traveled by airplane and auto approximately 60,00 miles. I have met thousands of people in both stressful and non-stressful situations. As my reviews by my superiors have confirmed, I have always maintained my professional courtesy and have strived to show each SBA applicant that I am truly concerned with their situation. I have enjoyed this rewarding work.
