As a part of Inplant Training I worked on Real time controlling of agricultural Motor using GSM SIM300 modem which is mainly focused on automating the irrigation system for social welfare of Indian agricultural system. This system will be useful for monitoring the soil moisture condition of the farm as well as controlling the soil moisture by monitoring the level of water in the water source and accordingly switching the motor ON/OFF for irrigation purposes. The system proposes a soil moisture sensor at each place where the moisture has to be monitored. Once the moisture reaches a particular level, the system takes appropriate steps to regulate or even stop the water flow. The circuit also monitors the water in the water source so that if the water level becomes very low, it switches off the motor to prevent damage to the motor due to dry run. The system also consists of a GSM modem through which the farmer can easily be notified about the critical conditions occurring during irrigation process.
Convolutive Speech Seperation and Localization in Real Time using Independant Component Analysis:
In this project, the speech separation problem is examined using the general framework of Independent Component Analysis (ICA). The auditory scene is modelled as continuous mixtures of the auditory objects, to establish the basic tools for the analysis. The case of real room recordings, modelled as Convolutive mixtures of the auditory objects, is then introduced. The recorded mixtures are centered and whitened using preprocessing techniques. Then Maximization of non-gaussianity is implemented to predict the separated signals. Kurtosis and Negentropy algorithms used to maximize the non-gaussianity. The entire project is implemented in MATLAB and in real time using CC studio.
Simulation of simple Link Layer Protocol Using TCPIP protocol:
In this project, we transfered an image through wifi network from one computer to another using socket programs of a simple data link layer protocol in MATLAB Software using TCPIP Protocols.
