As the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE-G6), Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), establishes and maintains ISSP automation security, including Network security, for TRADOCs tenant units. Prepares, distributes, and maintains plans, instructions, guidance, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) on the security of automated systems operations, and for security procedures and protocols governing network operations. Ensures procedures fully support the security integrity of automation and network operations, and comply with Public Law (Computer Security Act), Corps, Department of the Army (DA), and Department of Defense (DOD), GSA, National Security Agency (NSA), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and Federal Information Resources Management Regulations (FIRMR) security directives. Identifies resources to be protected. Analyzes the risk of espionage, sabotage, damage, fraud and theft to determine the level of protection needed. Identifies measures and controls situations to minimize losses. Develops procedures using risk assessment methods concerning local environments, processing procedures, personnel and other system components. Coordinates changes in the security environment with the District System Security Manager and all IMO chiefs. Develops and disseminates the standard automation security procedures and protocols governing network operations. Ensures that measures and procedures used at network nodes fully support the security integrity of the network and comply with applicable command security directives. Controls access and connectivity to systems and the network. Suspends partially or completely, upon detection of actions which may affect the security of the network or systems. Removes suspensions of systems or network support/service privileges upon problem resolution. Reports any attempts to gain unauthorized access to sensitive defense information or any system failure or suspected defect which could lead to unauthorized disclosure to the facility manager and the Systems Security Manager. Takes measures to protect the physical facility.

Install and troubleshoot operating systems, application software and hardware for classrooms and labs; Assist with management and maintenance of network accounts, network rights, root access and administrator privileges to accounts; Manage and monitor physical lab/electronic classroom computers and printers and ensure operational readiness for classes. responsible for providing first and second level operational support for Windstream's broadband customers. These data customers are primarily residential or small and medium sized businesses, but may also include independent Internet Service Providers. The position will interface via phone, chat, and trouble ticketing systems with Windstream technicians and front-line technical service representatives. It will also directly interface via phone with business data customers, customer IT personnel, account team managers, and sales engineers. Work is performed in shifts within a 24x7Network Operations Center environment. Primary responsibilities include turning up new static IP broadband service in Windstream's data network, configuring customer premise equipment, handling customer calls, and troubleshooting customer broadband problems.
