My background with cards started when my dad brought home a 1968 Milton Bradley Board Game called "Win-A-Card." The game included numerous TOPPS trading cards, notably Baseball, Football & Hot Rod cars (I still remember having Hank Aaron & Ed Mathews & I remember Senators shortstop Ed Brinkman because he had a long neck).

That got me started on a lifetime passion with vintage trading cards. I sold my first card collection in 1978 using "The Recycler" Classified Ads (this was way before the internet) for $1500 so I could buy my first car (a 1965 VW Beetle).

Since then I have bought & sold numerous card collections & was an early ebay user for buying & selling cards (member since 1997). I can identify and grade most issues from the early Tobacco issues to today's cards but I specialize in vintage cards. I take great care and pride with cards and am knowlegeable in careful handling of these cardboard treasures.

I also got to know many dealers in the hobby including Kit Young (Kit Young Cards), Levi Bleam (707 Sportscards), Bill McAvoy (McAvoy Sportscards, since dec.), Steve Verkman (Clean Sweep Auctions) & long time Editor of SCD Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards, Bob Lemke (since dec.) to mention a few.

Having been in the military I am very detail oriented and am able to contribute to a team of various ethnicities. I am friendly, honest and dedicated. I love what I do and think I would be an asset to PSA. Thank you for your consideration of my resume. Sincerely, Jessica Claire
