I am a Health Care Technician for 23 years in Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind and have a Master of Social Work degree. I am ready to have new challenges in the workforce. I am interested in managing deaf departmental as a Health Care Technician IV position. The targets would keep Student Life operational excellence by building positive working relationships among staff and students and foster an atmosphere of trust and respect in the workplace. I would work with staff on how to handle students with emotional and physical behavioral issues and create behavioral plans. I would provide staff feedback that allows them to know where the staff stands about job performances. All team members are encouraged to have open communication, have interpersonal relationships between staff and students, have good leadership and management skills, collaboration with other departments, and innovative work environments. I would delegate job duties in a way that achieves performance and highlights the staff's strengths. The trust and respect of staff would build again by displaying the following supervisory skills: leadership, delegation, collaboration, time management, problem-solving skills, decision-making, desire to train, and can drive the workforce toward desired goals, knowledge, high values, and beliefs. The team strengths are significant to have honest communication, critical thinking, creativity, positive attitude, flexibility, and adaptability. Team success contributes through hard work, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. I am motivated to learn, grow, and excel in the Student Life Management team.
