Conduct recruitment in the local community for age and income qualified participants. Creating flyers for classroom or center opportunities for maximum engagement and participation. To define effective camp goals and plan programs to reflect camp goals. Originate and carry out a system for recruiting campers and staff utilizing brochures, telephone calls, community partners and marketing materials. Prepare and conduct pre-camp and inservice staff training. Order or supervise the ordering of food, supplies and arrange proper distribution. Set and supervise office procedures, opening and closing day procedures for staff and campers. Daily supervision of staff and camp operations.Oversee staff activities and other required responsibilities. Develop routines, schedules and procedures for camp operation.
Monitor safety and all procedures as they pertain to the complete supervision of all campers and staff. Enforcing positive reinforcement startegies for disciplinary issues with campers.Assist the director with additional duties as required.
