I was born and raised in Germany where I completed all my education. In my early years I knew right from the beginning that I wanted to take care of who matters most, our children, elderly and people in need. So I took on my journey to become a teacher and found my first job in the field of special education. I worked in an elementary school with kids age 7 to 10 years. I was faced with a wide range of special educational support in form of autism, ADHD and trauma. Just to mention some. This challenge right at the beginning of my career channeled my love and dedication for my job even more. Ever since I have been working to improve myself as a life long learner but to also provide students with firm guidelines, structure and positivity. After many years in this field I know that I can create a safe and stimulating learning environment to support my students and lead them to the best outcome of all their possibilities. After almost 10 years of experience I am proud to say that with me you'll find a well-rounded and compassionate Special Education Teacher skilled at addressing each student's unique needs and creating effective lesson plans to accommodate individual circumstances. I came to the U.S. years ago and have been working at international schools ever since. Although I enjoy my present job I would love to go back to my roots in teaching which is teaching in a special education related field.
