This was an incredible opportunity brought to me by my community where Museum Resource owners befriended myself and offered me an apprenticeship in trade to teach them how to roast coffee and open a wholesale roasting company. I was a Coffee roaster and wholesale manager for a family owned roasting company in Kirkland at the time. Museum Resource is a archival specialized cabinetry and furniture woodshop in Georgetown, Seattle. I not only learned under master woodworkers, but catered to Seattle Art Museum, Fry Art Museum as well as Dale Chihuly. This was extremely important for my art career as well as helped round out my process to organize all aspects of "Fine work" and "Finishing Work." In the two years, not only did I get a fine arts experience, We launched Alchemy Fine Coffee's which moved down to Palm Springs, California, and is still in business today.
