To obtain a position that will enable me to use my strong organizational skills, charisma, and ability to work well with people to further the residents' experience and create lifelong relationships with everyone I interact with
I have both verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
I am a quick thinker and a good problem solver.
I am skilled in the Spanish language.
I have done community volunteer work with children and the elderly and am currently involved in a Kentucky-based community outreach program, Big Creek Missions.
I am very personable and charismatic and love interacting with all people.
I have supervised groups of up to thirty children from three months to five years of age while volunteering with Vacation Bible School at Calvary Baptist Church.
I was asked to help train new employees on basic job functions and requirements during my ongoing six month employment at Kmart in Oak Ridge.
As previously mentioned, I have worked with a community outreach program Big Creek Missions. While working for Big Creek Missions, I had constant interaction with the Appalachian community and assisted them in any and every way I could.
My employment with PackMules Moving began as a summer job working for my father, but during the summer of 2013, I began full time employment with PackMules, working as many as sixty hours, and occasionally more. My main responsibilities were to pack boxes, securely wrap valuables, and to load and unload furniture. Occasionally, I was asked to drive different vehicles, ranging from pickups to box trucks, as well as the the added responsibility of customer satisfaction. During my employment at PackMules Moving, I helped move approximately one hundred households and assisted on several haul-offs.
During my employment with Kmart Corporation, I constantly help customers find the merchandise they need, and if we do not carry the specific merchandise, I always recommend an affordable alternative or suggest a store that would carry something to fit their needs. This often includes calling other departments and occasionally other Kmarts to confirm product availability.
Any time I request a manger's help, I follow up the request with confirmation of a customer well satisfied and a job well done.
There have been plenty of situations where sound judgment is implemented and exceptions of normal customer policy occur in order to deliver exceptional customer service.
I always strive to exceed the minimum requirements of the job to deliver the best possible experience for each and every customer. I stay personable and charismatic throughout the day and remain professional independent of the stress of personal life.
I currently do odd jobs, mow, and cut and haul brush and leaves for family and friends. I also actively try to fit in as many side jobs as I can to fill in my excess time.
Upon graduation, I qualified for the Tennessee Lottery Scholarship (Hope Scholarship) and had over $2,000 worth of scholarships available to me to put toward any college costs in the state of Tennessee. I plan to continue my education at Roane State Community College in the immediate future.
