Taught Drawing I, an introduction to drawing and visualization. Learning to draw and render objects through the transition of two dimensional shape to three dimensional form using foundational drawing techniques and principals using both traditional and digital media.
Taught Drawing II, an introduction to drawing the human figure. Learning anatomical proportions, basic anatomy, form and movement. Also an introduction to drawing the clothed figure and storyboarding, using both traditional and digital media.
Taught Painting I and II, with concentration on the fundamentals and processes of representational painting from the still life. Painting II included landscape and figure painting.
Taught Illustration I and II, an introduction to verbal and visual relationships, exploring different methods of interpreting narrative to symbolic information to arrive at a appropriate illustration solution. Emphasis on experimentation and self expression. Most traditional media and digital applications explored along with pictorial composition fundamentals.
Taught Illustration III, advanced Illustration concepts and continued exploration in techniques and problem solving as applied to the practical aspects of a career in Illustration.
