With a Bachelor Degree in business accounting from Oakland City University and from working with clients in charge of their loan payments and collections, I am confident in my ability to help your company make tough decisions in contract choices. I am a self-motivated individual offering a strong work ethic and determination to complete tasks in a timely manner. Accurate and detail-oriented with extensive bookkeeping and clerical knowledge. I have had a foot in various tasks associated with my former position at American General, learning all positions, and handling them in one years time. At Jay C as shift manager opening or closing the store gave me direct experience with problem solving: price changes and discounts along with bank and register conciliation's. I also had to learn how to delegate tasks to my cashiers, along with being comfortable ordering merchandise. This has taught me how to address co-workers and gain a confidence in making decisions.
My current position at Baxter came after searching for jobs in my field. At that time there were few opportunities available in my field that a college graduate with one year experience could attain over other individuals with extensive history. However, the choice to start out in a company that was known to promote from within itself was an option that I thought could benefit my circumstances. My position in manufacturing has kept me constantly making calculations and decisions with precision. The specific instructions with my job allow no error or leeway, which has kept me focused and precise. I have stayed in my current position because it held promise for opportunities within the company. It has also afforded me a stable work environment and allowed me to grow in traits not taught in a classroom. I have recently reached the highest rank my position offers, without any response in my constant efforts to move up within the company. My hopes are that in seeing my my time at Baxter you will see a dedicated worker that does not give up, and is dependable. I believe that if you chose to look past my one year experience; you would see someone who could offer your company a confident and driven employee. One who is not afraid to work in order to earn his place, nor will he back down from quickly learning any information that I may not be as familiar with.
