Accomplishments
  • I am a person who believes in charity work and have initiated and succesfully organized several large benefit events. These events require a high level of organizational skills and interpersonal skills, as well as, the ability to seek out and aquire the aid of big name organizations. I was able to recruit a number of local bands, businesses and food vendors and organize their time-slots, promote the event through all forms of media (a link to an article covering the event is below for your convienence), calling and visiting local business owners for food/raffle donations, requesting raffle donations from Best Buy Corporation by contacting the President of the company and was given thousands of dollars in raffle prizes, scheduling pick-up and/or delivery of food for the event, creating a theme/getting decorations donated and decorating for the event, organizing and arranging all minor to major details, meeting with and partnering with the United Way of Milford to be the charitable organization that will deliver all money raised those in need and recruiting and organizing volunteers for the event day. I believe the success of these events shows my ability to multi-task and demostrates a high level of organizational skills.

  • Planned and coordinated logistics and materials for board meetings, committee meetings and staff events
