The auditing process required detailed knowledge of the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and RCRA. Audited facilities include gas plants, compressor stations, liquid fuel terminals, bulk storage facilities, and manufacturing plants throughout the U.S. Primary regulatory emphasis includes Title V operating permits, New Source Review, NESHAP, NPDES, and SPCC.
Developed and implemented the corporate-wide NPDES storm water compliance program for XTO ENERGY.
Assigned as the only environmental professional in XTO ENERGY's Weston, Colorado facility to monitor and manage three NPDES permits. Served as the environmental subject matter expert for operations personnel and the main site contact for state regulatory agencies. Dramatically reduced costs and increased discharge volumes by activating new wells and conducting outfall remediation while ensuring state and federal environmental compliance.
