Enhanced coordination and collaboration between the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA), FEMA, and the Recovery Resources Team (RRT), as in provided them with persons of contact information that would assist 36 natural disaster-affected counties' communities; businesses, agencies and other entities recover from long-term natural disasters more completely.
Conducted a "rollout" of the Commonwealth Recovery Resources Team, as in introduced the concept to potential funding partners and established an organizational structure and operating principles for the RRT.
Finalized a website that explained the operation of the RRT that allowed potential applicants and stakeholders to electronically submit project ideas. Whereas the RRT established procedures that forwarded the project to potential funders for consideration to assist communities to recover from natural disasters.
Coordinated and conducted three regional RRT forums in the areas most impacted by the 2011 disasters. The forums introduced potential applicants and stakeholders (municipalities and businesses) to potential funders, and introduce them to the operating procedures of the RRT.
