Assist voters at polling tables when needed. Direct voters to privacy booths and ballot marking devices. Operate and maintain equipment during election day and early voting. Notify inspection teams of any irregularities in the machines, behavior, or paperwork. As lead scanner person on election days and early voting I'm responsible for setting up voting booths and signs for voters. Close voting booths, seal ballot boxes, turn in all votes, ensure that all envelopes and documents are completed correctly and each one is signed. Supervise and train 10+ poll workers at different poll sites on election day and early voting. Assist those who need help working the machines. Work with lead coordinator on assignments, time management, and tabulation of signatures. Record on log sheet each day, the public and protected counts of each machine, collect ballots issued from each table, and calculate and organize the final amount of votes so that they are validated and signed.
