I have succesfully helped high and low functioning seniors through difficult end of life struggles. Many of whom have had chronic illnesses and disabillities. I was able to help them for just a few hours a day ,which in turn, allowed them the ability to continue living in their homes with their animals. This allowed them ,in many cases, not have to move into pricey assisted living centers without their beloved pets. Also, this helped them retain their independence.  In addition, many seniors do not get enough social interaction, and caregiving allows them to make social contact . I feel like I have made a difference for the elderly people I have helped.
