Professional Summary

As an educator, who strongly advocates for my students, my responsibility goes beyond hoping to influence them to get and/or stay on the right path. In advocating for my students, I hope they later become trustworthy law enforcement officers, doctors, fully invested teacher's and so much more positive influences that I hope will have a positive impact on my daughter growing up in my hometown.

. Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it"-Proverbs 22:6. I always assumed that this verse was talking to the parents of the child, but as time goes on I've come to understand that verse was and still is meant for anyone who is a member of the village that partakes in the raising of that child...educators included. Making sure that i stand firmly on the morals and principles Instilled within me at all times (no matter the circumstances) was only a mare fraction of my mother's responsibility in raising me, while my educational journey often rested in the hands of those hired within the Springfield School system still managed to have some positive influence on me as well.

As an educator my job is to make sure that each and every child that steps foot in my classroom is taught the required lesson at hand in order to pass that particular subject, but as an educator who is fully invested in my kids (no matter their background) my duty is to ensure that every single child that I interact with leaves with a knowledgeable tool they can apply to bring them beyond just surviving, but being able to thrive throughout their lifetime.
