As an educational diagnostician I served the needs of two elementary campuses with caseloads of up to 90+ special education students, to conducting district-wide bilingual (English/Spanish) assessments and assisting in writing and completing FIE's.
Organizing the assessment and ARD calendar for assigned schools. Select and complete assessments for initial evaluation, and reevaluation of students with learning disabilities, dyslexia, and intellectual disabilities. Served on one of the district autism assessment teams. Proficient with the use of cognitive and achievement batteries including WISC-V, WJ-IV, Bateria III, KABC, KTEA, CTOPP 2, WISC IV Spanish, GORT, WMLS, Wechsler Non Verbal, DAS II, ABAS, and Vineland adaptive behavior.
Proficient in use of Cross Battery Assessment techniques.
Participate in staff development for the appropriate assessment and identification of bilingual and monolingual special education students.
Proficient in assessing students with severe/profound disabilities with alternate assessments and narratives.
