Certificate of Completion: Radio and Television broadcasting: Audio and Video production2015Connecticut School of Broadcasting-
City,
StateI auditioned to attend the Connecticut School of Broadcasting because I have always wanted to be an actor and be in front of the camera. At the audition, I was required to read a live newscast off of a teleprompter while sitting at an anchors desk on camera.I was also required to read a short 30-60 second commercial in the school's state of the art radio studio. Fortunately I was accepted into the program based on my audition, and the work load began. I learned how to write scripts for radio and television, put together my own radio show in sports, news and radio shows that include your music, traffic and weather update that we listen to every day on the radio by deadlines. In video production, I was required to write, create and edit my own news cast. While working on this project; I wrote the script, directed, produced the show as well as starring as the news anchor reading the script I wrote off of the teleprompter. While working and completing this project, that is when I have decided to take the direction into the film/media/entertainment industry. I made this decision because I really enjoyed the creativity and all the hard work that follows with this industry. Immediately following graduation, I was accepted into an internship with a film production company as an editor.
