Most recently, I have completed my Masters of Education in Childhood Education and has gained an opportunity in the Early Literacy field. While student teaching, I learned of how many students struggle with reading and some strategies to conquer these struggles. I continued to learn more when I embarked on a new journey as the Early Literacy Teachers Assistant. I am in constant search of how to reach and help my struggling students in reading and other subjects. I have learned that it definitely affects all other subject areas learned by students. These things have led me to want to further my education in Literacy and Special Education.
