Maintaining an accurate inventory and daily/cumulative job cost. Make complete treatment recommendations for the treatment of a variety of drilling fluids. Perform a chemical analysis on a variety of drilling fluids. Submitting a daily report documenting the daily and cumulative treatment costs, rig activity over the last 24 hours, drilling fluid properties. I am required to oversee the rig crew to ensure daily treatments are being mixed properly. I am also responsible for knowing the environmental and safety limitations of many drilling fluids products.

Furnished suggestions and solutions to the Operator for maximizing system efficiency. Managed well-site inventory.Effectively operated water-based polymer and low shear-rate polymer systems, calcium chloride, and fresh/salt water gel applications with densities approaching 12 ppg.Developed wellbore hydraulics models and maintained system efficiency with a focus on adequate cleaning. Monitored and controlled drilled-solids separation equipment to maximize solids control. Implemented any necessary well-control procedures.Trained and evaluated several Mud Engineers, quickly established their abilities and prepared them to manage their own well-sites effectively.
