Disease Intervention Specialist who is skilled in technical and investigative work within a health Program for the last 5years. Main Responsibilities are the prevention and control of sexually transmitted and other communicable diseases. Work includes acquisition and investigation of confidential information pertaining to known and suspected cases of communicable diseases; collection of blood samples and submission to Public Health Laboratory; counseling patients and providing health education; consult with physicians, nurses and other health professionals to provide assistance with cases and maintain surveillance of diagnosed infections.

Responsible for performing daily operations to include opening/closing routines; prepared daily, weekly and monthly reports; maintained and monitored payroll and the daily/monthly budget. Responsible for all Human Resources functions to include recruitment, interviewing, hiring and firing, evaluations, training, staff meetings.
