As Director it is my duty to ensure that the entire network infrastructure is not only efficient, but secure as well. This requires attention to detail and the knowledge to implement such policies. The first accolade was to bring the environment email server from a physical on site repository, to a cloud base. This migration involved Microsoft Outlook 2010 to Office 365, cutting over 200+ email accounts. Next was to create a solid foundation before making significant improvements to the environment. This started with making sure the backup protocol involved an offsite backup and a local onsite server should the company be hit with ransomware. Finally, upgrading the network from copper to fiber. The copper-to-fiber migration project was huge and very time consuming, however the results speak for themselves. These are just a few of the strong improvements I have accomplished while Director at Sawgrass. Board meetings bi-weekly and maintaining the budget of my department were also added duties as well as the innovator and IT Project lead for the 100 million dollar renovation project.
