Kendal is a clinical Dietitian and the Diabetes Prevention Program Coordinator at Norton Sound Health Corporation. As a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado in Nutrition and Dietetics, she then completed the Montana State University Dietetic Internship. Kendal began her career at Norton Sound Health Corporation as a clinical Dietitian and was quickly promoted to the Diabetes Prevention Program Coordinator in addition to her clinical duties. She has served as a preceptor to University of Alaska Dietetic interns as well as Montana State University, developing the Montana State University intern exchange with NSHC. She authored and implemented policies and procedures regarding nutrition supplements, inpatient nutrition assessments, nutrition referrals, outpatient billing and quality improvement for nutrition services. Kendal has authored and presented 15 webinars to include childhood nutrition, Alaskan Traditional foods, elder nutrition, and renal and oncology medical nutrition therapy.
